Service and Support Policy
We charge a $795.00 Evaluation and Minor Service fee which includes a Calibration with data report. In our evaluation we determine what is required to service or repair the unit to ensure it is operating at its published performance specifications. The PDL-100A and CPDL-100A consists of Aerospace grade microwave relays and precision cut semi-rigid coaxial cable. Each of the units MAY require replacement of one or more relays and/or tuning of the coaxial cable sections at additional charge.
NOTE: Given normal usage distribution, a failure in one relay indicates a high likelihood or failure in another relay since they are all produced in the same production lot. We provide you a choice between replacing only failed relays (with the possibility of having to service the instrument again soon at additional charge) or replacing all relays. These maintenance services, replacement parts, and labor are all at additional charge. We make an evaluation then advise you and ask how you would like us to proceed.
When the service form is finished, we give you an RMA # based on the date and first two letters of your Company name (e.g., CO082515) and information for where to send the item to us at:
