XT SERIES
Programmable delay (or phase shift) is provided through our patented electromechanical trombone with precision cut semi-rigid coaxial cable and aerospace grade microwave relays. We offer accuracy and precision with excellent repeatability.
Patented electromechanical trombone offer accuracy and precision
Our most precise programmable delay line instruments designed to handle a high frequency/RF electronic signal, ranging from DC up to 18 GHz, and adjust the overall distance that the signal traverses. Altering this signal path length directly influences the resulting phase shift and complete travel time, as measured by comparing the signal's entry and exit points. We offer this capability in an instrument that accepts a time delay value in the form of commands and queries over a programmable interface.
Programmable delay (or phase shift) is provided through our patented electromechanical trombone with precision cut semi-rigid coaxial cable and aerospace grade microwave relays.
The capabilities to doppler shift and/or oscillate between two end points at variable rates of speed.
A Doppler effect (phase shift) can be applied in the signal path from the increase or decrease of the path length by the movement of the electromechanical trombone. The movement will be at a fixed (constant) velocity for a limited time duration depending on velocity profile selected.
An oscillation effect can be applied in the signal path from the increase and decrease of the path length that is continuously varied (cycled) between two endpoints. Displacement (amplitude) and period define an oscillation.
We can either have two columns one talking about doppler shift and the other about oscillate between two end or show one image to represent the newest innovation at this top level.
